By the grace of God*, a few months ago, some of the finest young musicians in the UK came together to put forth cover versions of songs they love for a special radio hour on Balamii. Now, cortesy of Bathtime Sounds, these songs have been compiled onto this very special release and are available to purchase. Do enjoy this sumptuous melange of homages to the greats.

Your money will go to Women for Afghan Women - an orginisation dedicated to securing and protecting the rights of disenfranchised Afghan women, girls and families in Afghanistan and New York.
Last April, Following the US's decision to withdraw troops from Afghanistan, the Taliban came in and caused the government to collapse and President Ghani to flee the country. The country has been in crisis for over a year now with 95% of the population living below the poverty line. The situation has been described by the head of the World Food Programme as "the worst humanitarian crisis on earth".
Amongst other atrocities, the interrim government has banned women from parliament and employment and many of the schools in the country have closed their doors to girls. Aside from this, violence against women is rife. Your donations will help support, educate and empower women in Afghanistan as well as refugees in New York.
